Kris Druw is the founder & creator of KD Love Studio, one of the top ballroom hair & makeup (image) studios. We are SOO excited for you to learn from her vast years of experience and take your look to the next level!

ALL DANCERS, PARENTS, COACHES, AND STYLISTS ARE WELCOME!
All seminars are geared towards styling for the female dancer, but men can be great stylists and are welcome to come learn as well.

Space will be limited, so register EARLY to reserve your spot!

OCTOBER 18-19, 2024 (Fri, Sat)
Location: UVU Campus (free parking & map will be provided)

Hair Seminars (Friday Oct 18)
For each demo lecture, Kris will demonstrate and teach 3-4 hair elements/techniques. These skills can be applied to many hairstyles. Videos and questions are allowed and encouraged! (30 people max per demo!)

The practice seminar will be an opportunity for you to practice one of the hair styles taught on yourself or a model and receive personalized feedback and assistance from Kris. (10 people max for practice seminar!)

  • Style 1 demo: high slick with gel wave & classic bun – 10:00am – 1:00pm (3 hours)
  • Style 2 demo: low slick with crimping details & twist bun – 1:30pm – 4:30pm (3 hours)
  • Practice Seminar: Choose one of the styles taught to practice. Kris will answer additional questions and provide personalized feedback & assistance – 5:00pm- 7:30pm (2.5 hours)

Makeup Seminar (Saturday Oct 19)
10:00am – 3:00pm (30 people max!)

This 5 hour instruction will include instruction and demonstration of each makeup element by Kris. All participants will be given her product to use to ensure a quality result. Each participant will follow along, practicing the makeup on themselves or on a model. Kris will provide feedback. Video and questions are allowed and encouraged!

You may also choose a combination of the various seminars and take advantage of the associated discounts. (Below)

    • A full list of what participants will need to bring and what will be provided will be sent before the seminar
    • If there is sufficient interest over 30 per seminar, a larger room may be reserved.
    • In order to register for the Practice seminar, you must also sign up for at least one Hair seminar.
    • The Practice seminar will be capped at 10 people.

    REGISTER EARLY FOR A DISCOUNT! Prices will increase on October 12th.

    CANCELLATION POLICY:

    • Cancellation before the early bird deadline will result in a full refund.
    • Cancellation on or after Oct 12th will result in a 50% refund.
    • Cancellation within 48 hours of the class will result in NO refund.
